Add Vegetables Before You Subtract Everything You Enjoy

Most diets start with removal — cut carbs, cut fats, cut sugar, cut joy. A better strategy is addition first. Add a handful of spinach to your morning eggs. Throw some broccoli into your pasta. Put tomatoes on your sandwich. When vegetables fill more of your plate, the less helpful foods naturally shrink without you feeling deprived. Building up is more sustainable than cutting down.
