Before you need it, write a list of 5–7 things that genuinely help you when you're in crisis: a specific song, a walk route, a person to call, a breathing technique, a comfort show. Store it in your phone notes. When crisis hits, you won't be able to think clearly — but you can follow a list you made when you could. The point isn't that these things fix the crisis. It's that they carry you through until the worst passes.

A personal crisis list made in advance means you don't have to figure out how to cope in the moment you're least able to think.
