Check Your Skin Regularly — Especially Moles That Change
Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers, but also one of the most treatable when caught early. The problem is that most people never look. Once a month, examine your skin in good light. Use the ABCDE rule for moles: Asymmetry, Border irregularity, Color variation, Diameter over six millimeters, and Evolution (any change). If a mole changes shape, color, or size — or if it bleeds or itches — see a dermatologist promptly. This five-minute habit could genuinely save your life.
