Bone Density Peaks Around 30 — What You Do Before That Matters

Your bones aren't static — they're constantly remodelling. But peak bone density happens around age 30, and after that, you're slowly losing more than you build. The stronger your bones are before that peak, the more you have to work with for the rest of your life. Weight-bearing exercise, adequate calcium and vitamin D, and avoiding excessive alcohol all contribute. If you're under 30, this is one of the best investments you can make. If you're over 30, strength training still slows the decline significantly.
The point
Bone density peaks around 30 — building strength before then gives you a larger reserve for the rest of your life.
