Keep Three Days of Water Per Person at Home

That's about 3 liters per person per day — just for drinking and basic hygiene. Store in clean, food-grade containers in a cool, dark place, and replace every 6 months. In an earthquake, flood, or infrastructure failure, clean water disappears within hours, and stores empty out just as fast. Having 9-10 liters per person already on your shelf means you don't have to panic, fight crowds, or boil river water. It's the most boring, most useful emergency prep you can do.
The point
Three days of stored water per person is the simplest emergency prep — and the one you'll be most grateful for.
