How to Rebuild Trust -- With Yourself

We talk a lot about trusting others, but rarely about the trust we've broken with ourselves. Every time you promised to wake up early, set a boundary, or leave a bad situation and didn't -- you chipped away at your own credibility. After enough broken promises, a quiet voice says: why would this time be different?
Rebuilding self-trust works the same way as rebuilding trust with anyone else: small, kept promises. Not dramatic overhauls. Start with something almost too easy to fail at: I will go to bed by 11 tonight. I will text that person back today. Each kept micro-commitment is a brick in the foundation. Over weeks, the voice changes from you never follow through to you actually might.
The point
Rebuild trust with yourself through small, consistently kept promises -- not dramatic resolutions.
