What you push down doesn't disappear — it finds another way out. Suppressed emotions surface as unexplained anxiety, tension in the body, or snapping at someone who barely did anything wrong. Emotions are signals, not problems to eliminate. The goal isn't to silence them but to make space for them — even briefly — so they can move through you instead of getting stuck.
The point
Emotions you suppress don't go away — they come out sideways in your body, your mood, and your relationships.
