People genuinely do become stronger, more compassionate, and clearer about what matters to them after going through something hard. This is real, and it's worth knowing. But growth cannot be forced or scheduled — and pushing yourself to "find the lesson" before you're ready is just a subtler form of pressure. First survive. Then heal. Then, if and when it happens, grow. The silver lining will find you when you're ready for it — not the other way around.
