One Bad Meal Is Not a Reason to Abandon the Whole Week

You ate a huge pizza at midnight. Or finished a bag of chips without thinking. The temptation now is to declare the whole day — or week — ruined and give up until next Monday. This is the "what-the-hell" effect, and it's one of the biggest traps in health behavior. One meal doesn't undo a week of good choices. Your body doesn't work in on/off mode. Just eat normally at the next meal. No punishment, no compensation. Consistency over time matters infinitely more than any single choice.
The point
One unhealthy meal doesn't erase a week of good choices — just return to your normal pattern at the next meal.
