Plan Your Day the Night Before

H howtolive.guide ·

When you wake up without a plan, you spend your freshest hours deciding what to do instead of doing it. Five minutes the night before — writing down your top three priorities for tomorrow — means you can hit the ground running. Your morning self does not have to negotiate with a blank slate.

This is not about scheduling every minute. It is about removing the decision fatigue that eats your morning energy. When you sit down and already know what matters most, you skip the drift and go straight to work.

The point
Five minutes of planning the night before saves your morning from decision fatigue and aimless drifting.

I write 3 things I want to accomplish tomorrow before bed. Just 3. No more. It gives my morning direction instead of that "where do I even start" feeling. Doing this for a year now.
