Never Mix Bleach and Ammonia

Mixing bleach with ammonia creates chloramine gas, which can cause chest pain, shortness of breath, and in enclosed spaces, death. The danger is that many common products contain one or the other without you realizing — bleach is in toilet cleaners and mold removers, ammonia is in glass cleaners and some multi-surface sprays. Always read labels before combining cleaning products, and never mix anything with bleach unless it's plain water. If you accidentally mix them, leave the room immediately, open windows from outside if possible, and get fresh air. If you feel dizzy, nauseous, or have trouble breathing, call poison control or emergency services.
The point
Bleach plus ammonia makes toxic gas — read labels, never mix cleaners, and leave the room immediately if you do.
