Don't Walk With Both Ears Blocked at Night

H howtolive.guide ·

Headphones in both ears remove your most important 360-degree awareness sensor. You can't hear cars approaching from behind, footsteps gaining on you, or someone calling a warning. This doesn't mean you can't enjoy music or podcasts while walking — just keep one ear free, or use bone-conduction headphones that leave your ear canals open. At night, in parking garages, and on quiet streets, this matters most. Your playlist will still be there tomorrow; your ability to hear danger approaching won't wait.

The point
Both ears blocked removes your 360-degree danger awareness — keep one ear free, especially at night.
