Schedule Late-Night Work Messages for the Morning
Sending a work message at 11 PM feels harmless because it costs you nothing to type it. But it lands on someone else's evening, and even a message that says "no rush" pulls their attention away from dinner, or their kids, or sleep. It also teaches everyone, including you, that work has no closing hours.
Use a scheduled-send feature and set every non-urgent message to arrive at 9 AM. Protecting other people's evenings protects yours too — the norm you set for others is the norm you eventually get back.
The point
A late-night message costs the sender nothing but pulls at the receiver — schedule non-urgent messages to land the next morning instead.
