Artificial urgency is a manipulation tactic. If someone says "decide now or lose this opportunity," ask yourself: who benefits from my rush? Legitimate opportunities allow time for thought. Buy yourself at least one night — "I'll give you my answer tomorrow" — and watch how the pressure changes. If the opportunity vanishes because you asked for a day, it wasn't a real opportunity.
