Not Every Problem Needs Your Opinion

Having an opinion on everything is exhausting and unnecessary. We feel pressure to take a side on every issue, as if neutrality means ignorance. But selective engagement is a sign of maturity, not apathy. It's perfectly fine to say "I haven't thought enough about that to have a view." Reserving your mental energy for the things that genuinely matter to you — and admitting uncertainty about the rest — is both more honest and more sustainable.
The point
Selective engagement is wisdom, not apathy — you do not need a view on everything.
