A Properly Framed Problem Is a Half-Solved Problem

Most bad solutions come from poorly defined problems. Before jumping to answers, invest time in getting the question right. "We need more revenue" is vague; "We're losing 30% of trial users in the first week" is actionable. The right question practically answers itself. If you're stuck, chances are you haven't framed the problem clearly enough yet.
The point
A clear problem statement is half the solution — most bad answers come from vague questions.
