What to Do If You Suspect You're Being Followed

H howtolive.guide ·

First: do not go home — that reveals where you live. To confirm you're being followed, make four consecutive right (or left) turns; nobody drives in a circle by coincidence. Once confirmed, head to the nearest crowded, well-lit place — a busy store, gas station, or police station. Make a phone call loudly or pretend to: "I'm at [location], I'll be there in two minutes." If you're in a car, drive to the police station or call the police while driving — don't stop. If on foot, enter any open business, tell staff you're being followed, and ask them to call the police. The goal is always: stay visible, stay in public, get help.

The point
Never go home if being followed — confirm with four turns, go to a crowded place, and call for help loudly.
