Never Let an Attacker Take You to a Secondary Location

Crime statistics are unambiguous: once a victim is moved from the initial location to a second one, survival rates drop dramatically. The reason an attacker wants to move you is to get you somewhere with fewer witnesses, less chance of help, and more control. Whatever is happening to you now, it will almost certainly be worse at the second location. Resist, run, scream, fight — whatever it takes to stay where you are. A public scene, even a dangerous one, is far better odds than compliance. This is one of the few safety rules that has no nuance: do not go.
The point
Survival rates plummet at a secondary location — resist, run, make noise, do whatever it takes to not be moved.
