Reseal Opened Bags With a Clip, Not a Rubber Band
Flour, rice, frozen vegetables, chips — they all come in bags never designed to close twice. A cheap set of bag clips solves this permanently: they seal flatter and tighter than a twist tie, and unlike folding the bag over, they actually keep air and moisture out.
Keep a clip or two by the pantry and one in the freezer drawer. It costs almost nothing and adds one extra second per use, but stale cereal, clumped sugar, and freezer-burned vegetables become far less common. Small friction removed, small waste prevented.
The point
A cheap bag clip seals opened food far better than a twist tie or folded bag — small effort, less waste.
