Before a job interview last year I Googled myself and found a data broker site with my home address, phone number, and approximate salary listed publicly — information I never posted anywhere. Spent a Saturday submitting opt-out requests to eight of those sites. Most honored them within 30 days.

Once I started noticing the clenching during the day and deliberately releasing it, I stopped waking up with headaches within a month.

Length beats complexity. "correct-horse-battery-staple" is stronger than "P@ssw0rd!" and infinitely easier to remember. The math is simple: each additional character multiplies the search space exponentially.

Договорился сам с собой: в моменты, когда хочется бросить, я не принимаю решение — просто продолжаю минимальный вариант. Бросал учить испанский трижды. Потом ввёл правило «хотя бы одно слово в день» — и продержался через два плато подряд. Сейчас B1, разговариваю с носителями.

Фотографировал квартиру при заезде 40 минут — каждую царапину, каждое пятно, каждый жёлтый выключатель. Хозяин смотрел скептически. При выезде попытался удержать залог за "повреждения" — показал фото с датой. Получил всё до копейки.

Перебрался из Воронежа в Москву, зарплата выросла втрое. Через год обнаружил, что на карте ровно столько же, сколько было дома — просто кофе стал за 350, а не за 90. Пришлось буквально прописать новый бюджет как будто моя зарплата не изменилась, а остаток класть на вклад в первый же день.
