Use Voice Memos to Capture Ideas When You Cannot Write

Some of your best ideas arrive at the worst times — while walking, driving, showering, or falling asleep. You can't always pull out a notebook. But you almost always have your phone.
Get in the habit of recording quick voice memos. Ten seconds is usually enough to capture the essence of an idea. Don't worry about making it sound polished — just get the thought out. Sort and process your memos later, during your planning time. The point is to never lose an idea to inconvenient timing.
The point
Walking, driving, showering — ideas don't wait. Record them in 10 seconds and sort later.
