Let Cleaning Products Sit Before You Scrub

Most cleaning products need 3-5 minutes of contact time to actually work. The chemicals do the heavy lifting — your scrubbing just helps them along. Spray the surface, walk away, do something else, then come back and wipe.

This is especially true for bathroom cleaners, oven degreasers, and tile sprays. If you spray and immediately start scrubbing, you're relying on elbow grease instead of chemistry. Let the product do its job and you'll scrub less while cleaning more.
