What to Do When You Are Drowning in Meetings

Audit every recurring meeting on your calendar. For each one, ask three questions: does it need me? Can it be shorter? Can it be async? Be honest — most meetings survive on inertia, not necessity.
Decline or shorten one meeting this week. Protect at least one two-hour block for actual focused work. Being in meetings all day is not the same as being useful.
The point
Audit your meetings ruthlessly — decline or shorten what you can, and protect blocks of uninterrupted time for real work.
