Knowing about confirmation bias doesn't make you immune to it. We treat bias awareness as if it were a vaccine — learn the name, and you're protected. But awareness is only the first step; it's far from the last. You still need systems, second opinions, and active effort to counteract your blind spots. The most dangerous version of bias is the kind where you think you've already handled it just because you can define it.
