"It's Natural" Doesn't Mean It's Good

Diseases, violence, and poisonous mushrooms are also natural. The appeal to nature confuses description with endorsement — the fact that something exists in nature tells you nothing about whether it's desirable or ethical. "Natural" is a label for origin, not quality. Evaluate things by their actual effects, not by how ancient or organic they sound.
