Dismissing an idea because of who said it is the fastest way to stop thinking. A flawed person can still make a valid point, and an admirable person can still be wrong. When you catch yourself focusing on the speaker's character instead of their reasoning, pause — you've left the realm of logic and entered the realm of tribalism.
