Photograph Your Closet Before You Buy More Clothes

H Pavel Volkov · howtolive.guide ·

Standing in a store, it is easy to convince yourself you "need" a plain white shirt or another pair of dark jeans. Before you shop, take one photo of your open closet and one of your folded drawers. Pull it up while you are browsing and compare it against what is actually in your hand.

Most impulse clothing purchases are duplicates of something you already own but forgot about. A thirty-second photo check saves money, closet space, and the guilt of a tag still on a shirt six months later.

The point
A quick photo of your closet before you shop stops you from buying yet another version of something you already own.
