How to Check What Google Knows About You — And Delete It

Google keeps a detailed record of your search history, location history, YouTube watch history, voice recordings from Assistant, and more. Most people have years of accumulated data they have never reviewed. The good news is that Google lets you see all of it and delete what you want.
Go to myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy and explore the activity controls. You can view your entire search history, turn off tracking for specific services, and set up auto-delete so data older than 3 or 18 months is removed automatically. It takes about ten minutes and is one of the most impactful privacy actions you can take.
The point
Google stores years of your search, location, and activity data — visit your privacy dashboard to review and delete it.
