Hide Message Previews on Your Lock Screen

Anyone glancing at your phone on a table or in your hand can read the first line of a text, a two-factor code, or a bank alert without ever unlocking it. Most people never think about this until a preview shows something they really did not want a stranger — or a partner — to see.

A locked phone should not still tell your secrets out loud. In your notification settings, switch previews to show only when unlocked — it takes one setting and you will not miss the content, just the exposure.
