Do Not Vent at Work to People You Do Not Trust

Everyone needs to release frustration sometimes, but choosing your audience is everything. Venting to the wrong person can turn a momentary complaint into a reputation-defining narrative. Before you unload, ask yourself: would I be comfortable if this person repeated my exact words to the person I'm talking about? If the answer is no, save it for a trusted friend outside of work or a therapist. The workplace is rarely a safe space for unfiltered honesty.
The point
Vent only to people you genuinely trust -- the wrong audience can turn a fleeting frustration into lasting damage.
