Ask for Time Before Accepting an Offer — Urgency Is Often Artificial

H howtolive.guide ·

When a company pressures you to decide immediately, it's usually their urgency, not yours. A reasonable employer understands that accepting a job is a major life decision that deserves a few days of thought. Ask for 48--72 hours, review the full compensation package, talk to people you trust, and compare it to your actual priorities -- not just the excitement of getting an offer. If they can't wait two days, ask yourself what else they'll rush you on.

The point
A good offer will still be good in two days -- take the time to make a decision you won't regret.
