Using Your Brain as Storage Instead of a Processor

Your brain is excellent at making connections, spotting patterns, and generating ideas. It is terrible at remembering all your tasks, deadlines, and appointments. Every item you try to hold in your head takes up mental RAM that could be used for actual thinking.
Write everything down — in a notebook, an app, a sticky note, it doesn't matter where. Free your brain to do what it's good at by offloading what it's bad at.
The point
Your brain is great at thinking but terrible at storing tasks — write everything down and free your mental space for real work.
