Make Every Lesson Produce an Artifact

H howtolive.guide ·

After each learning session, produce something tangible: a summary in your own words, a diagram, a small project, a solved problem. If a lesson leaves no artifact, it leaves no trace. Your brain might feel like it absorbed the material, but feelings of understanding and actual understanding are very different things.

The artifact doesn't need to be polished or impressive. A messy handwritten page of notes beats a clean, passive re-reading every time. Output is the only reliable evidence of learning. When you can produce something from what you studied, you know the knowledge actually stuck.

The point
If a learning session produces nothing tangible, the knowledge likely did not stick.
