Uninstall Apps You Haven't Used in Three Months — They Still Collect Data

H howtolive.guide ·

Apps you have not opened in months are not just taking up storage space. Many of them are still running background processes, collecting data, refreshing location, and consuming battery. That fitness app you tried once, that shopping app from a holiday sale, that game you played for a week — they are all still there, still active.

Do a quarterly cleanup: scroll through your apps and uninstall anything you have not used in three months. If you need it later, you can reinstall it. But right now it is sitting on your phone with permissions you forgot about, sending data you are not aware of, and draining resources you could use for things that actually matter to you.

The point
Unused apps still run background processes and collect data — uninstall anything you have not opened in three months.
