Turn Off Bluetooth When You Are Not Actively Using It
Bluetooth left on all day quietly broadcasts your device to everything nearby — other phones can sometimes see its name, and in crowded places that constant visibility has been used to track people's movement between locations. It also drains battery for a connection you are not even using most of the time.
A device that is not broadcasting cannot be an easy target. Turn Bluetooth on when you need your headphones or watch, then switch it off — most phones let you do this from the control panel in two seconds.
The point
Leaving Bluetooth on all the time adds a small but real tracking and battery cost for a connection you barely use.
